Manual calibration
In case the values have not been stored in the temporary data logger (SAMPLE DATA) or the list item no in the program
branch Parameter\c auto calibrat. was selected, the manual calibration is available.
• Select the program branch Measuring.
Press ENTER until the measured value is displayed:
• Press key BRK to stop the measurement.
• Open the concentration curve of the medium in the program FluxKoef.
• Enter the temperature (see 1 in Fig. 10.1).
• Move the cursor (2) on the curve to the concentration value supplied by the laboratory. The exact value is displayed
above the curve (3). Zoom into the curve, if necessary.
• The corresponding sound speed c
c
for this concentration is displayed (4).
• Define the calibration coefficient: n = c
c

The automatic calibration is performed.
The offset of the sound speed is calculated and displayed.
Press ENTER.
If the offset of the sound speed is outside of the range ± 200 m/s it is automatically limited
to these values.
Use key and during the measurement to display the temperature, the sound
speed and the concentration. Write down the values.
Press ENTER.
