10.6 Installation of Temperature Measurement
The temperature is measured by:
• connecting a temperature probe to the temperature input of the transmitter or
• connecting an external temperature measurement to the current input of the transmitter
FLEXIM Temperature Probe Pt100, Pt1000
The temperature probe has to be installed close to the flow transducers in order to obtain temperature values at the mea-
suring point.
• Connect the temperature probe to the temperature input T1 of the transmitter. For the connection of the temperature
probe see section 7.2.
• Select the type of the temperature probe:
• Install the temperature input:
Select on to store the concentration. Press ENTER.
Select the program branch Output Options.
Press ENTER until Store Meas.Data is displayed. Select yes to activate storing. Press
ENTER.
Select a storage rate or EXTRA. Press ENTER.
recommended value during the start-up: 1...10 s
recommended value during operation: 1...10 min
This display will only be indicated if Store Meas.Data and/or Serial Output are acti-
vated.
If EXTRA is selected, enter the storage rate. Press ENTER.
Select Special Funct.\SYSTEM settings\Proc. inputs. Press ENTER.
Select the list item PT100/PT1000.
Select the type.
Select Special Funct.\SYSTEM settings\
Proc. inputs. Press ENTER.
Select Link temperature. Press ENTER.
Select No measuring. Press ENTER.
Select Input T1. Press ENTER.
