5.10.4 Emissivity Factors for Common Materials
5.10.5 Non-Uniformity Correction
A non-uniformity correction (or NUC) is an image correction carried out by the camera
software to compensate for different sensitivities of detector elements and other optical
and geometrical disturbances1.
The NUC is an automatic function that takes place periodically (approximately every 2-3
minutes) or whenever the inner core of the cameral detects a ±2oC temperature change.
