• Pan continuously through 360º.
• Tilt (elevate) to ±90º relative to the horizon.
• Zoom (magnify) the thermal camera image.
Note: Stabilized variants of the T-Series thermal
cameras include a continuous zoom function,
non-stabilized variants can switch between x2 and
x4 magnication.
Panning and tilting, and the thermal image
On a touchscreen multifunction display you can
pan and tilt the thermal camera image using the
touchscreen.
Move your nger up and down the screen to tilt
the camera up or down.
Move your nger left and right on the screen to
rotate the camera left or right (panning).

On a multifunction display with physical buttons
or when using a remote keypad you can pan, tilt
and zoom the thermal camera image using the
UniControl.
In some circumstances it may be better to use
just the UniControl's rotary and joystick controls to
manipulate the thermal camera view. For example,
this method is ideal for ner control over the camera
and is particularly useful in rough sea conditions.
UniControl joystick — is used for rotating the
camera left or right (panning), or tilting the
camera up or down.
UniControl rotary — is used to zoom in and out.
Aligning to mobile device
When using the RayControl or RayRemote mobile
applications your connected mobile device may be
used to position the thermal camera’s eld of view.
Prerequisites:
• A compatible Raymarine
®
/ FLIR
®
pan and tilt
thermal camera is required
• Your mobile device must have a built-in compass
(magnetometer).
• Your mobile device must be connected to the
Wi-Fi connection of the MFD that is connected to
the thermal camera.
• Your mobile device must have the latest version of
the RayRemote or RayControl app installed.
1. Open the RayRemote or RayControl app.
2. Ensure the Thermal camera application is running
on the MFD.
3. With the thermal camera application displayed on
your mobile device select Motion sync.
The thermal camera will now automatically pan and
tilt to the same heading as your mobile device.
Thermal camera home position
The home position is a preset position for the
camera.
The home position usually denes a useful reference
point — for example, straight ahead and level with
the horizon. You can set the home position as
required and to return the camera to the home
position at any time.
The home icon appears on-screen momentarily
when the camera returns to the home position.
The icon ashes when a new home position is
set.
