The F012-P is suitable for use with flowmeters with an NPN output signal. For reliable pulse
detection, the pulse amplitude has to go below 1.2V. Signal setting NPN-LP employs a low-pass
signal noise filter, which limits the maximum input frequency (
SETUP
5.1: FLOWMETER > SIGNAL[»16]).

The F012-P is suitable for use with flowmeters with a PNP output signal. Terminal 3 offers 3.2V
which has to be switched by the sensor to terminal 2 (SIGNAL). For a reliable pulse detection, the
pulse amplitude has to go above 1.2V. Signal setting PNP-LP employs a low-pass signal noise filter,
which limits the maximum input frequency (
SETUP
5.1: FLOWMETER > SIGNAL[»16]).
With Type PD a sensor supply voltage of 8.1V DC can be taken from terminal 6.
