Displayed when you set negative edge triggering in the Setup menu. – EdGE is active
but not displayed when % duty is on.

You must turn on positive or negative duty in Setup menu.
Negative Edge Triggering
To trigger on the negative edge of the waveform, set EdGE to nEG in the
Setup menu. The word
-EdGE shows in the upper display when you exit the
Setup menu.
Positive and Negative Duty Factor
To measure duty factor, set duty ( POL in the Setup menu) to either POS or
nEG . When you measure negative duty factor, a “–” symbol shows in the
upper display.
