Sensor Jack Verification
1. Make sure nothing is connected to the sensor port of the Fluke 716. Push
O to turn
the calibrator on. The display should read:
---------- mA
then change to:
OL 0.000 mA
2. Plug the Fluke Pressure Module into the sensor port of the Fluke 716. The display
should change to:
---------- mA
A pressure value should appear on the screen after all of the calibration constants
have been downloaded.
3. Disconnect the Fluke Pressure Module and push O to turn the Fluke 716 off.
717 Verification
Pressure Verification
1. Carefully attach the pressure fitting of the deadweight tester to the pressure port of
the 717 30G Calibrator.
Note
Use Plenty of TEFLON tape when attaching pressure fitting.
The display should read 0.00 PSI with the deadweight tester opened up to ambient
air. If not, press the
Z key until display reads 0.00 PSI.
2. Set up the deadweight tester for the sequence of PSI inputs from Table 66 to be
injected into the pressure port of the 717 Calibrator.
3. Ensure the pressure has stabilized at each input before verifying the display reading.
