Program Control
The final menu item is the control parameter. These options are available to control the ramp and
soak program:
• Start the program from the beginning (
GO)
• Continue the program from where it was when it was stopped (
Cont)
• Stop the program (
OFF)
Pr=OFF Program presently off
1. Push UP or DOWN to change the status.

2. Push SET to activate the new program control command and return to the temperature
display.
Secondary Menu
Use the secondary menu to access less-used functions. To get to the secondary menu, push
SET and EXIT simultaneously, then release. The first function in the secondary menu is the
heater power display.
Heater Power
The temperature controller pulses the heater on and off to control Bath temperature. The total
power applied to the heater is determined by the duty cycle or ratio of heater on time to the pulse
cycle time. Watch the red/green control indicator light or read from the display to estimate this
value. The heating amount, once known, can tell the user if the Bath heats up to the set-point,
cools down, or controls at a constant temperature. Monitor the percent heater power to determine
Bath temperature stability. With control stability, the percentage of heating power should not
fluctuate more than ±1 % within 1 minute.
Access the heater power display from the secondary menu. The heater power shows as a
percentage of full power, for example:

To escape from of the secondary menu, push EXIT. To continue to the proportional band setting
function, push SET.
