Calibration Bath
IEEE-488 Setup (Optional)
41
Calibration Parameters
The Bath controller gives access to these Bath calibration constants:
•CTO
•B0
•BG
•H
•L
•HGbt
These values are factory-set. Only adjust these parameters if the controller memory fails.
Restore these values to the factory settings. A list of these constants and their values are in the
Report of Test with the manual.
W Caution
Do not change the values of the Bath calibration constants from the factory-set
values. The correct parameter settings are important to the safety and proper
operation of the Bath.
Push SET five times to enter the Calibration Parameters menu (
CAL).
CTO
The factory-set parameter, CTO, sets the calibration of the over-temperature cutout. Adjust CTO
with an internal potentiometer. It is not adjustable by software.
BO and BG
The-set parameters, BO and BG, calibrate the accuracy of the Bath set-point. Do not alter these
parameters. For improved accuracy, calibrate R
0
and ALPHA with the procedure in Cooling
Control.
H and L
The factory-set parameters, H and L (H,L), set the upper and lower set-point limits of the Bath.
Note
Fluke Calibration recommends a high limit setting below the flash-point of the fluid in the
Bath.
HGbt
WCaution
To ensure best performance without damage to the Bath compressor, do not alter
this parameter value.
The factory-set parameter, HGbt (
HGbt), sets the temperature where the hot gas bypass
activates.
