Serial Interface Parameters
Push UP to access the Serial Interface Parameters menu from the Operation Parameters menu.
SErIALindicates the serial RS-232 interface parameters menu.
The serial interface parameters menu contains parameters that determine serial interface
operation:
BAUD rate
sample period
duplex mode
•linefeed
BAUD Rate
BAUD rate (bAUd) is the first parameter in the menu. The BAUD rate setting determines the serial
communications transmission rate. Program the Bath BAUD rate serial communications to 300,
600, 1200, or 2400 BAUD.
1. Push SET to choose to set the baud rate. The current BAUD rate value shows.
1200 b Current BAUD rate
2. Push UP or DOWN to change the BAUD rate value.
3. Push SET to store the new baud rate value, or EXIT to abort the operation and go to the next
menu parameter.
