2.2 VFD Unpacking and Inspection
Remove VFD from its packing and inspect its exterior for shipping damage. If there is damage,
notify the shipping agent and your FCS (Franklin Control Systems) sales representative.

Remove the VFD cover and inspect VFD for any damage or foreign objects. Check VFD part
number, current rating and nominal voltage on the sticker attached to the side of the VFD. Verify
if VFD electrical and environmental ratings are correct and adequate for the application.
