This can result in serious injury and damage to property. Before opening the device:
► Turn the power source mains switch to the "O" position
► Disconnect the power source from the mains
► Attach a clearly legible and easy-to-understand warning sign to prevent anyone switch-
ing it on again
► After opening the device, discharge any live components (e.g. capacitors).
Onserve the following points to ensure the auto-transformer gives you years of troublefree
operation:
Carry out a safety inspection at the specified intervals (see chapter headed „Safety
rules“ in the power source instruction manual)
Depending on the installation location, but at least twice a year in any case, remove
side panels from the machine and clean with dry, reduced compressed air. Do not
bring the air nozzle too close to the components.
If a lot of dust has accumulated, clean the cooling-air ducts.
