Press the [FUNC] or [RTN] button to exit function mode.
● Do not turn off the power or the ignition switch while formatting.
The formatting process will be interrupted and the data may be
corrupted.
● When a Memory Stick is formatted, all data on that Memory
Stick will be erased. (Includes Memory Stick security recorded
data and sound quality data)
● New MG Memory Stick may not be used without formatting. In
that case, format (quick format) the stick on this deck so music
can be recorded (Hi-Fi directory format). The Memory Stick
formatted on a deck other than exclusive MG Memory Stick
deck may not be usable on this deck.
