Removing and fitting the dust removal cover
(ventilation slot cover)
In orde r to ensure optimum cooling of the compone nts in y our notebook, you
should periodically clean the v entilation slot of the h eatsink.
This will ensure the opt imum functionality of the fan. The be st way to clean
the cover is to use a small h andheld suction cleaner.
If necessary, you can also use a d ry brush to release dust from the ventilation slots.
Be sure that you do not damage the ventilation blades in the process. Do
not use any abrasives for cleaning purposes.

► Press on th e clip of the dust chamber
cover (1) and remove it from its
installation location (2).
► Clean the dust chamber with a dry b rush.

► Insert the dust chamber at an angle
into the slot (1) and ensure that you
feel it click into place.
