► Switch off the extern al monitor and the
notebook.
► Ch eck whether the pow er cable is plugged
properly into the external monitor and into
the power socket.
► Ch eck whether the data cable is pro perly
connected to t he no tebook and the external
monitor (if it is plugged in with a c onnector).
► Switch on the external mon itor and the
notebook.
The external m onitor is blank or the image is unstable

Change the f ollowing setting:
► Set the screen resolution: Select the
required resolution with Startsymbol –
(Settings) – Control Panel – Appearance and
Personalisation – Personalizati on : Adjust the
screen resolution as required.
► Select monitor: Right-click on the desktop.
Under Personaliza tio n – Disp lay Settings
choose screen 1 or 2 and under Advanced
Settings – Monitor choose the correct m o nitor.
