Working with the notebook
Access via UMTS
You can purchase the accessories for UMTS reception from your ret ailer
or your Fujitsu Technology Solutions dealer.
You will find information on establishing the connection with the U MTS
network in the documentation for the hardware used.
You can connect y our device with the In ternet via UMTS. To do this, use one
of the following types of connection:
• a USB dongle (a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card)
• UMTS ExpressCard (for inserti
ng in the ExpressCard slot of your device)
• mobile end-device (e .g. mobile phone with Blueto oth or cable connection)
Ethernet and LAN
EthernetLAN
The internal network module of
your notebook supports Ethernet LAN. You can use it to
establish a connection to a loc
al network (LAN = Local Area Network).

Your network administrator can help you to configure and use the LAN connections.
The network cable is not included in the delivery sco pe. This type of
cable can be obtained from a s pecialist dealer.
