8 Fit the pump chamber to the pump motor and the pressure plate to the
p
ump head.
Make sure the pump head is oriented so that the clamp ring screw (F) loca-
ted at the back is aligned with the hole for the screw cap.
Note:
Fit the isocratic pump chamber to the pump motor P-201.A and the pres-
sure plate to the pump head.
Fit the gradient pump chamber to the pump motor P-201.B and the pres-
sure plate to the pump head.
9 Attach the pump chamber and the pressure plate with the four hex screws
l
oosely. Then tightening them crosswise to a torque of 25 Nm using the
tool and the 8 mm attachment head illustrated below.
Note:
D
o not use manual force to compress the pump chamber. The pump cham-
ber is decompressed using the hex screws.
10 Remove the attachment head from the torque tool.
