Step Action
1 Make sure that all equipment is enclosed in the crate according to the
p
acking list.
2 Examine the equipment for any apparent damage. If damage is found,
document this carefully.
If any equipment is missing or damage is found, contact your GE Healthcare repre-
s
entative immediately.
Move the system on level surfaces
ÄKTA ready XL can be rolled on hard and level surface with brakes on wheels on the
system and the pump wagon released.
Make sure the locking pins are in the locked position on the pump wagon. The locking
p
ins on each side of the pump wagon frame keep the pump wagon in position when
the system is moved.
Move the system on uneven
surfaces
NOTICE
D
o not lift the system with a forklift or similar lifting equipment
without first disconnecting the pump wagon. After disconnecting
and removing the pump wagon the system must only be lifted us-
ing the lower part of the cabinet.
