3. Secure the shelf to the back rack rails with 4 rack rail screws.

4. Position the ATS in place in the rack so it rests on the shelf. If you are using the
center, or end rack installation options, return the side mounting procedure. See
Rack side mounting on page 3-10. Complete the installation from step b. See
page 3-11.
Rack rail-mounting
CAUTION
LIFTING HAZARD — Rail-mounting the ATS in a rack is a two-
person job. Do not attempt to install the ATS in a rack without help.
One person needs to hold/align the ATS in the rack while another
person secures it in place
The ATS weighs approximately 30 lbs (14 kg). Use proper lifting
techniques when positioning the ATS in the rack during installation
to avoid back injuries.
NOTE
ATS rail-mounting requires a 4-post rack.
1. Remove the 10 screws in the center of both sides of the ATS.
2. Align the holes in the rack rails with the screw holes in the side of the ATS.
Secure the rack rails to the ATS with the screws removed in step 1.
3. Select a position in the rack for the ATS.
4. With another person assisting you, position the ATS in place in the rack. Secure
the rails/ATS to the rack with 4 rack rail screws.
