8 Maintenance
If necessary, contact your nearest authorized technical dealer.
8.1 Special Personnel Qualifications
Maintenance work may only be performed by specially qualified personnel in
accordance with the safety instructions.
8.2 Safety Instructions
To prevent damage to property and/or life-threatening injury to personnel always
observe the following:
Only use original spare parts / original wear parts / original accessories.
In the case of products by other manufacturers it cannot be ensured that they
have been designed and produced from the point of view of loads and safety.
All of the steps involved in maintenance work must be carried out in the order
specified.
Maintenance work should only be performed with the tools envisaged for this
purpose.
Before performing any work on electrical installations or equipment
(components, housing, etc.) switch off all power supplies and make sure they
cannot be switched back on again. Put up a sign warning against switching them
back on again.
Obey the safety rules:
- isolate
- ensure devices cannot be switched back on again
- make sure nothing is live
- earth and short-circuit if necessary
- cover or enclose any nearby live parts.
8.3 Particular hazards
There is a risk of injury from accessible components/tools etc. with sharp edges.
Electronic components may be damaged by electrostatic processes.
- Only touch the edge of the printed circuit board and avoid static caused by
clothing, for example.
