BEFORE ASSEMBLING, MAKE SURE THAT THE SWITCH IS IN THE “OFF” POSITION AND THAT THE POWER CORD IS UN-
PLUGGED. DO NOT PLUG IN OR TURN ON THE SAW UNTIL YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
STEPS DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION OF THE MANUAL.
INSTALLING AND CONNECTING THE BLADE COVER
5. Close the lower blade guard and screw it to lock it
in place with a 5 mm Allen key.
Note: A safety switch shuts off the machine when the lower
blade guard is opened.
6. Slide the table the left.
3. Slide the blade cover into its mounting bracket.
Note: To make it easier, positiion the blade in its highest
position.
4. Flip the lever closed to lock the blade cover in posi-
tion.
1. Open the lower blade guard.
Note: A safety switch shuts off the machine when the lower
blade guard is opened.
2. Flip open the blade cover lock lever.
