Aligning the riving knive to the blade.
9. Use a feeler gauge to measure the clearance be-
tween the straight edge and the blade. The width of
the gap must be more or less the same on each side
of the splitter/knife. If not, go to the next step.
The main table is already factory set, and should not require adjustment out of the box. However with use over
time, re-alignment may be required periodically.
1. Place a precision square against the end of the
blade and note the distance between the blade
and the T-slot.
10. Unscrew screws A using a 4 mm Allen key. To increase
or decrease the clearance between the straight
edge without affecting the previous adjustments, turn
the four set screws in the required direction making
sure each set screw is adjusted the same as the oth-
ers. Retighten screws A
2. Repeat at the other end of the blade. If the distance
is the same, go to the next step.
Centering the riving knife to the blade.
7. Place a straight edge against the riving knife and
verify visually that the riving knife is aligned to the
blade from one end of the blade to the other. If not,
go to the next step.
8. Unscrew screws A using a 4 mm Allen key. Using a
3 mm Allen key, turn the set screws D or E in the re-
quired direction to align the riving knife. Re-install the
riving knife and verify that it is now aligned. Re-adjust
the set screws as needed. Retighten screws A.
