Your device scans for available Wi-Fi networks and displays the names in
the screen.
4. On the list of discovered networks, touch the one you want to connect
to.
5. If the network is secured, you’re prompted to enter a password or other
credentials.
If the network is open, you are prompted to confirm that you want to
connect to that network by touching Connect
Using the Bluetooth Function
NOTE: Getac does not guarantee the products compatibilities with the
Bluetooth headsets/devices from all manufacturers.
Turning Bluetooth On or Off
Touch the widget
on the Home screen to turn Bluetooth on or off.
Or, perform these steps:
1. Touch (on the Home screen) Settings.
2. Find the Bluetooth item under WIRELESS & NETWORKS. Slide the
Bluetooth switch on or off.
NOTE: When not using the Bluetooth function, turn off the Bluetooth radio.
Leaving the radio on will consume more power.
Pairing with a Bluetooth Device
The first time you use a new Bluetooth device with your device, you must
“pair” them, so that they know how to connect securely to each other. After
that, you can simply connect to a paired device.
1. Make sure that the other Bluetooth device is set as “discoverable” and
within range.
