Settings
NOTE:
Incorrect settings may cause your system to malfunction. Make sure that
you fully understand the function of a certain item before any adjustment.
Some setting items are available only for specific models.
Some setting items are available only for specific subscriptions you have
with your carrier or applications you have in your device.
The Settings application contains most of the tools for customizing and
configuring your device.
To open Settings, touch (on the Home screen) Settings. You can also
get to Settings quickly at any screen by swiping down from the top right
corner of any screen and touch Settings.
Wireless and Networks Settings
Item Description
Wi-Fi To configure and use Wi-Fi.
Bluetooth To configure and use Bluetooth.
Data usage
To view the amount of data uploaded or downloaded
by your device during a given period. You can set up
conditions for data usage.

Airplane mode Check to turns off all wireless radios.
Default SMS
app
To choose the SMS app that you’d like to use (if you
have installed others).
Tethering &
portable
hotspot
To share your device’s mobile data connection via USB
or as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
VPN
To set the type of VPN to add and view the list of VPNs
that you’ve previously configured.
