Thismustbeextended,usingnotlessthan15mmo.d.pipe,
todischarge,inavisibleposition,outsidethebuilding,facing
downwards,preferablyoveradrain.
Thepipemusthaveacontinuousfallandberoutedtoa
positionsothatanydischargeofwater,possiblyboiling,
orsteamcannotcreateanydangertopersons,damageto
propertyorexternalelectricalcomponentsandwiring.

Condensate produced by the appliance is mildly
acidic (pH 3.5 - 5.0). Use protective gloves

The volume of condensates evacuated can reach
about 15 litres per day for a detached house. This
volume is negligible compared to the volume of
waste water discharged by a house, because the
condensates are diluted in this water.

• Makesurethereisnoprotectiveplugtted.
• Connectthecondensatepipe(1).

The pipe should have a fall of a least 2.5° 44mm/
metre away from the boiler.
Condensateshould,ifpossiblebedischargedintothe
householdinternaldrainagesystem.
• Ifthisisnotpracticable,dischargecanbeallowedintothe
externalhouseholddrainsorapurposedesignedsoakaway,
refertodiagramoverleaf.
Itisrecommendedthatanyexternalcondensatedrainpipeis
protectedandalsopreferablyof32mmdiameter,toprevent
freezinginadverseweatherconditions.
• Alwaysensurethepipeisinstalledwiththecorrectfall
• Connecttheboilercondensatedrain(1)toacondensate
dischargepipewhichshouldbeminimumof19mm
internaldiameterandbemadeofanacidresistantmaterial
(e.g.plasticoverowpipe).Donotusemetalpipes.Itis
permissibletouseacondensateneutraliserprovidingthatit
ischeckedforcorrectoperation.
