Purpose:
○
RL rear camera is calibrated at vendor site to secure the image/video quality post repair.
○
To ensure the ASPs understand the difference of the Production Rear Camera and RL Rear
Camera.
○
And change the Logic Board, ASP needs to change the RL Rear Camera as well.
●
Production and RL Rear Camera:
○
The new Rear camera for service (RL Rear Camera) has the 'GEO' mark, as Fig1.
○
The device original Rear camera (Production Rear Camera) doesn't have the mark, as Fig2.
●
If changing the Rear Camera:
○
ASP needs to change the Rear camera for service has the 'GEO' mark. For the replaced Rear
Camera from the original device, keep them, and RTV (Return To Vendor).
●
If changing the Logic Board:
○
ASP also needs to change the RL Rear camera has the 'GEO' mark. For the replaced Rear Camera
from the original device, keep them, and RTV (Return To Vendor)

Cynergy/CTDI PL/Asurion only: for the Rear Camera replaced with MLB together (no camera
related failure code T/F/Q 070-074, 077-078, 100, 108), store them separately from other
defective Rear Camera. General Parts Packaging & Storage SOP.

If reuse the Rear Camera

The reused Production Rear Camera can only be used for the original device.
With GEO mark
