EHS requirements
Caution - Pixel 6 Pro is classified as a Class
1 laser product per IEC 60825-1 Ed. 3. The
design of the product incorporates optics and
protective housing such that there is no
access to a level of laser radiation above
Class 1 during normal use or approved
servicing.
This product complies with 21 CFR 1040.10
and 1040.11; except for conformance with
IEC 60825-1 Ed. 3., as described in Laser
Notice No. 56, dated May 8, 2019. Use of
controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein
may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

According to EHS (Environmental Health &
Safety), a screen over 100 square
centimeters or a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD)
with a gas discharge lamp should be
designed so they can be removed from the
device. All devices with a display over 100
square centimeters are required to be
removed for separate recycling.
According to EHS, a printed circuit board
over 10 square centimeters should be
designed so they can be removed from the
device. All the devices with a printed circuit
board over 10 square centimeters are
required to be removed for separate
recycling.

According to EHS, portable devices should
have a process to remove batteries safely.
Before removing the battery, it is
recommended to discharge it to <10%.
