17. syncFURNACE OD is not designed to support the weight of the venting system. DO NOT apply any
load to either the Flue Gas and/or Combustion Air connections.
18. All venting must be supported:
a. At a minimum, once every three (3) foot (.92m) interval
b. If possible, support venting system within the first two (2) feet (.61m) after connecting to
syncFURNACE OD
ROOM DEPENDENT COMBUSTION AIR SUPPLY:
The product shall be located so that it doesn’t interfere with proper circulation of
combustion, ventilation and air dilution.
Only use solvents & cements in well vented areas. Do not use near open flame
or open fire. Only use the appropriate solvent & cement for the venting
material being installed.
SOLVENTS & CEMENTS ARE FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS AND MUST BE KEPT AWAY
FROM ALL SOURCES OF IGNITION – CONSULT PRODUCT LABELS FOR ALL OTHER
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS.
It is the installer’s responsibility to familiarize themselves with the hazards
associated with explosive cements and primers and to take all precautions
necessary to reduce these risks. Failure to follow these instructions can
cause explosions, property damage, injury or death.
Under no circumstances is it acceptable to support venting system using the
syncFURNACE OD vent connections, sheetmetal cabinet or warm-air duct work.
Make up air requirements for the operation of exhaust fans, kitchen ventilation
systems, clothes dryers and fireplaces shall be considered in determining the
adequacy of a space to provide combustion air requirements. Failure to ensure
adequate make up air to all appliances may result in personal injury or death.
Installer must follow the requirements of the local jurisdiction, the National
Fuel Gas Code, ANSI Z223.1 (U.S.) or CSA B149.1 or .2 (Canada).
