APPENDIX I: TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION HEAT >
This application won’t void product warranty, but the below requirements need to be followed for it to be
ok for use -
a. syncFURNACE may be used for temporary heating of buildings or structures under construction
only when the following conditions have been met:
b. Venting system must be complete and installed per manufacturer’s instructions.
c. Product must be controlled by a thermostat (no field jumpers / hard wired on).
d. Return air duct must be complete and sealed to the Furnace.
e. Return air filter must be in place, meet MERV 11 (at a minimum), checked daily and maintained in
good / clean condition.
f. 100% of the combustion air requirement must come from outside the structure.
g. Return air temperature must be > (greater than) 55°F
h. Clean inside the product, duct work, and all components upon substantial completion of the
construction process, and verify syncFURNACE OD operating conditions including ignition, input
rate, and venting, according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
