All grease points con-
nected are too dry, and a
malfunction is indicated
by the optional indicator
lamp.
Defective pump unit or
blockage in the system.
Retrieve the fault code.
When the code indicates
that there has been no
state change of the
block monitoring switch,
during a number of suc-
cessive greasing cycles
this could indicate:
1. System contains
grease that is not suit-
able for the current
operating conditions.
Solution: Replace the
grease in the pump and
flush the system.
2. Grease reservoir is
empty.
Solution: Fill the reser-
voir and de-aerate the
pump when necessary.
3. Air pockets in the
grease reservoir.
Solution: Fill the reser-
voir to maximum level
and let air escape
through the opening in
the top of the guide rod
and de-aerate the
pump. When problem is
consistent try to fill the
reservoir with some oil.
4.The optional block
monitoring switch is not
mounted while the
parameter in the pro-
gram is activated.
Solution: Connect the
UniGINA to the pump
controller and de-acti-
vate this block switch
option.
5. The number of cycles
in which minimal 1 block
switch state change
needs to be detected is
too short.
Solution: Connect the
UniGina to the pump
controller and increase
the number of cycles.
