13. Fault finding chart
Warning
Before making any connections in pumps, terminal boxes or breaker cabinet, make sure that the electricity supply
has been switched off for at least 5 minutes and that it cannot be accidentally switched on.
Fault Possible cause Remedy
The Control MPC is stopped and cannot
restart.
Primary sensor fault
- Primary sensor is defective.
Replace the primary sensor. Transmitters
with 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA output signals are
monitored by the Control MPC.
- Cable is broken or short-circuited.
Repair or replace the cable.
CU 351 fault
- Electricity supply disconnected.
Connect the electricity supply.
- CU 351 defective.
Contact Grundfos.
Electricity supply disconnected. Connect the electricity supply.
Main switch switched off. Switch in the main switch.
Main switch is defective. Replace the main switch.
Motor protection is activated. Contact Grundfos.
