Verification
procedure
1. Set the GDM-8245 range to 500Ω.
2. Short the test leads. Verify the resistance as 0±3 digits.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the remainder of the ranges.
Verify the resistance as 0±2 digits.
Resistance shorting verification is complete.

1. Set the GDM-8245 range to 500Ω.
2. Input 0Ω to the DMM.
