The following will clear the standard event register:
The *CLS command is executed.
•The *ESR? command is used to query the event register.

that writes a binary weighed value which
determines which events in the status byte
register are enabled.

Queries the status byte enable register. This
command returns a binary-weighted decimal
number that indicates which bits are set in the
