Use the following procedure to check or replace the control battery.
1. Power up the machine.
2. Power down the machine.
3. Remove access cover “A”, Figure 2.1.
4. Hold the battery latch to the side of the battery while pulling battery “C”, Figure 2.2, out.
5. Follow the wires to reach plug “B”.
6. Disconnect the old battery from the control
7. Connect the new battery.
8. Put the new battery into the battery slot. The battery latch will snap into place.
9. Dispose of the old battery properly.
10. Mount the access cover.
