• Always replace both the pads as a set.
•
Check the wear indicator grooves (1) on
each pad.
• Check the brake pads for wear by examining
the wear limit grooves on each pad.
Inspection
• Replace the pads if worn out to the bottom
of the groove.

• Visit your Authorised Hero MotoCorp
workshop for the brake pad replacement.
(c) Rear brake
•
Check the free play of integrated/rear
brake lever (1).
FREE PLAY: 10-20 mm
•
If the free play (2) is more than 20 mm
turn the adjuster nut (3) in the brake arm
(4) to obtain desired free play.
Make sure the cut-out on the adjusting nut
(5) is seated on the brake joint pin (6) after
making final free play adjustment.
