This feature has following functions:
•
It stops the running engine when side stand
is moved down.
Your vehicle is equipped with “Side
stand engine kill” feature for safety
purpose.
•
It prevents starting the engine when side
stand is down.
WARNING
!!
•
If “Side stand engine kill” feature has any
fault, side stand indicator will glow
continuously and “Side stand engine kill”
feature will not work.
•
Regularly inspect the functionally of “Side
stand engine kill” feature and in case of any
malfunction visit Authorised H ero
MotoCorp workshop.
To inspect the functionality of this feature,
park the vehicle on its main stand and check
all the conditions described in the inspection
flow diagram:

2. Then put the side stand “Up” (side stand
indicator is “OFF”) and start the engine.

1. Turn the ignition switch to “ON” ( )
position and press the electric starter
switch (with side stand is “down” and side
stand indicator is “ON”).
(m) Pillion footrest
Move the left and right (1 & 2) footrest in the
direction shown by arrows to open. Folding
can be done by moving footrest in the reverse
direction.
