16.4 Cancellation registration (optional)
Should the Utility or the electricity consumers have a requirement to remove the meter
or change the meter, the registration of the meter could be canceled in the following manners:
When a cancellation is processed on the Engineering token generation (or Vending)
System a 20 digit cancellation token is generated.
The User would enter this 20-digit token and press the enter button.
Should this token be successfully accepted the meter will return a 20-digit refund token,
the user shall write down the returned code .
The user would then return this token to the Utility Vending Station or Engineering
Station . If it is accepted the system will write off the meter and refund the balance.
The cancellation token can be inquired by stroking 818.
16.5 Short Code
There are series of short codes available for electricity consumers to easily retrieve
information from the meter.
