3. Remove the metal plate on the underside of the water tank by reaching into
the recesses with your thumbs and gently forcing the metal plate upwards.
Note: The water tank is not dishwasher proof and should therefore only be cleaned by
hand. The metal plate can also be washed in the dishwasher (gentle or glass-
ware program).
4. Clean the water tank and the metal plate in warm water and use a mild deter-
gent.
5. Thoroughly rinse the water tank and the metal plate with drinking-quality
water.
6. After cleaning, wipe the surfaces on the water tank and the metal plate dry
with a soft cloth or allow the parts to air dry, avoiding direct sunlight.
7. Reinsert the metal plate into the water tank while applying slight pressure.
8. Fill the water tank to the specified level mark.
9. Push the water tank sideways into the humidifier housing until it clicks into
place.
