If a CPU Error occurs, finish the case with manual ventilation. Then, take the machine out of use and call for service. This error indicates a lack of communication between AVM 3-1 and module 1 (user interface) for more than 20 seconds, a system failure (Module 1), or a Watchdog Error (Module 2).

In case of a Flow Error, finish the case with manual ventilation, take the machine out of use, and call for service. This error occurs in CMV or PCV modes when, after the first five breaths in CHILD mode or the first three breaths in ADULT mode, the last inspiratory flow is lower than 0.05 L/min, even though more than 2.00 L/min were set at the prop. valve, or if the sensor does not deliver any values.
