3.1 Pre-operation Inspection
Before using the instrument, verify that it operates normally to
ensure that no damage occurred during storage or shipping. If

disconnected. If so, replace it with a new one.

indicates the present alkaline battery status. If

be replaced soon. Be sure to have spare alkaline
batteries available.
Inspecting
batteries
Measurement may not be possible for insulated

measurement. In such a case, clean the terminal
(remove the insulation) before measurement.
