9.7 Disposing the Instrument
(Removing the Lithium Battery)
When disposing of this instrument, remove the lithium battery
and dispose of battery and instrument in accordance with local
regulations.

Switch off the instrument and
remove the test leads.

Remove the protector.

Remove the 4 screws at the
rear of the instrument using a
Phillips screwdriver.

Remove the cable protruding
from the battery holder.

Remove the upper panel.

Using tweezers or a similar tool,
remove the lithium battery from
the lower panel.
