2.4 Installing an SFP transceiver (optional)
For this device, only use suitable SFP modules from Hirschmann.
See “Accessories” on page 48.
Proceed as follows:
 Remove the protective cap from the SFP transceiver.
 Push the SFP transceiver with the lock closed into the socket until you
hear it latch in.
2.5 Connecting the terminal blocks
Note: The working voltage is connected to the chassis through protective
elements exclusively.
WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK
Connect only a working voltage that corresponds to the type plate of your
device.
Never insert sharp objects (small screwdrivers, wires, etc.) into the connec-
tion terminals for electric conductors, and do not touch the terminals.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury,
or equipment damage.
