5. Device configuration
The E-Mon energy meter is simple to configure and connect to the network. Keep all the
electrical parameters in account during configuring the E-Mon energy meter.
The CS shall connect with the meter via connecting terminals. Check section 3.3 for current
sensors. Connect the communication cables via communication port at the bottom right of
device.
Use the push-in terminals for making connections, check Push-in Terminals for pulse meter
configuration. Use mobile application or front panel display to check/acknowledge the wiring
status of the and other parameters.
Use the ‘Setup’ menu for configuration options. Access the setup menu using navigation
method mentioned in section 4. Use the Setup menu to perform partial reset as well as reset
of peak values. Select the accurate options for network topology, current ratings. Check safety
instructions before starting the device configuration.

NOTE
Practice caution during configuring the device parameters. Confirm the system values
and consider network topology and CS ratings.
