Ethernet cables
The communication between the Ethernet cables is achieved through 100MB twisted pair cables.
However, the data transmission in expansion cables is in 10s of micro units. As external noise affects
the system performance and control, the Ethernet cables used in ML200R systems must be twisted pair
cables such as UTP, FTP, STP, or FSTP cables. The twisted pair cables are known as Cat5 cables. The
twisted pair cables are categorized on the following two criteria.
l Shielding: It is classified into three types. The following table lists the three types of twisted pair
based on the shielding used.
