Using e-mail
The Mail section of the Home Screen makes it easy to view your recent e-mail, check for new e-mail,
and configure your e-mail account.
When you set up your e-mail, you can use an existing e-mail account. You can also import preferences,
account settings, address books, and other data from an existing e-mail account.
NOTE: You must set up your e-mail account before you can send and receive e-mail. Refer to Setting
up an e-mail account on page 26 for additional information.
Setting up an e-mail account
In order to send and receive e-mail, you must set up your e-mail account. The Thunderbird Account
wizard collects the information necessary to set up your account. With the Thunderbird Account Wizard,
you can set up the following types of accounts:

E-mail
●
RSS news and blogs
●
Unix Mailspool (Moviemail)
●
Gmail
●
Newsgroups
