Remove Quarter-inch Cartridge Tape Driver (QIC)
1. See Figure 8-9.
2. Disconnect the SCSI flat ribbon cable from the QIC drive.
3. Disconnect the power connector from the QIC drive.

See Figure 8-10.
5. Remove four TORX screws and remove the QIC drive from the front of the peripheral
drawer.
Warning
Do not mix these screws with the system chassis screws. You will damage the
QIC tape drive if you attempt to mount it with the system chassis screws.
