d. Loosen the pen drive motor clamp and remove
the motor. See Figure 6-13.
e. To remove the belt, slide it from the pen carriage.
See Figure 6-15.
f. Loosen the pen solenoid mounting screw shown
in Figure 6-13. Slide the solenoid to the right and
remove the armature and spring.
g_ Slide the pen lift bar to the right just far enough
to allow removal of the belt.

6-71. To replace the belt and motor, proceed as follows:
a. Replace the belt in position and replace the pen
lift bar.
b. Replace the solenoid spring and armature and
secure the solenoid back into place.
c. Slide the belt into the pen carriage. See Figure 6-15.
d. Place the idler pulley in position.
