Card Reader
The card reader is secured to the front right corner of the chassis.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (
Preparation for Disassembly on page 31).
2. Remove the computer access panel (
Computer Access Panel on page 40).
3. Remove the front bezel (
Front Bezel on page 41).
4. Disconnect the cable from the black system board connector labeled MEDIA.
5. On the outside of the chassis, remove the one Torx T15 screw that secures the card reader to
the chassis.

6. Pull the reader away from the front of the chassis while threading the cable through the slot in
the front of the chassis.
To install the card reader, reverse the removal procedure.
