To turn on and off the ambient light sensor using the ambient
light sensor hotkeys, press
fn+f11.
You can turn on and off the ambient light sensor using the Quick
Launch Buttons software:
1. Open the Quick Launch Buttons software:
❏ Select Start > Control Panel > Printers and Other
Hardware > Quick Launch Buttons icon.
– or –
❏ Double-click the Quick Launch Buttons software icon in
the notifications area.
2. Select the Advanced tab.
3. Select or deselect the Enable Ambient Light Sensor
check box.
4. Select Apply, and then select OK.
