– Printhead-to-printhead misalignment along the Y axis
If there is a printhead-to-printhead misalignment along the Y axis, parts that are printed in the
prin
thead-to-printhead boundary area may be larger or smaller than parts printed by a single
printhead.
NOTE: If the paper is moved out of the printer by mistake during the alignment process, restart the
pr
ocess.
To align the printheads, go to the front panel and tap the Maintenance icon , then Printheads >
Align, then follow the instructions on the front panel.
You can choose between semi-automatic and manual printhead alignment. Semi-automatic alignment is
r
ecommended if feasible, as it is more accurate and more objective than the manual method.
